Every page you write on has small marks in the corners and a little square code at the bottom. They are there so your pages can be scanned later.
How it will work
When scanning opens, everyone who bought the book gets a scan code by email. Open this page on your phone and take a photo of each filled-in page. The marks line up the photo, the code tells us which page it is, and what you wrote goes into a fillable PDF that you keep.
Your pages stay private
- Your photos and what they say are never stored. Each page is read once, the result goes to you, and everything is deleted when you finish.
- You check every answer on your screen before anything goes into your PDF.
- The tool skips the passwords page and full account numbers, so keep your book somewhere private if you write those down.
Why it helps
Your book stays on the shelf at home, and a backup copy is there if the book is lost in a move, a flood or a fire. You can also share a copy with a grandparent, a sitter or whoever would step in.
Scanning is not ready yet. The book works fully on its own, and the marks will be ready when scanning opens.
